Welcome to the South Dakota SHRM State Council!

South Dakota SHRM State Council has an immediate opening for a 

Membership Director


  This role plays an important part in supporting membership efforts across the state by providing guidance to chapter membership directors, helping strengthen recruitment and retention strategies, representing at-large SHRM members, and keeping the council informed on membership activities.  This is a two-year appointed role and offers a great chance for someone to make a meaningful impact on member engagement statewide.  The full position description is available here:  Membership Director Position Description [sodak.shrm.org]. 

Serving on the South Dakota SHRM State Council [sodak.shrm.org] is also an incredibly rewarding experience.  It provides a unique platform to expand leadership skills and collaborate with HR professionals from across our state.  Our council includes 14 council positions and the seven chapter presidents, along with our representative on the SHRM Membership Advisory Council (MAC) and our field-based SHRM Members and Community Director (MCD).  Being part of the South Dakota SHRM State Council offers you strong professional connections, deeper access and insight to the SHRM community and best practices, and the opportunity to support the HR profession across our state.
